The Awareness Committee of the Student Council (StuV) of the DHBW Lörrach is committed to gender equality and the concerns of the LGBTQ+ community. Our goal is to promote an inclusive and respectful environment for all students and to counteract discrimination in any form.

Our Tasks and Goals

The Diversity Committee is committed to various areas of equality and inclusion to promote respectful interaction at the university.

Promoting Gender Equality
We advocate for the equality of all genders and organize events and workshops that raise awareness of gender-specific issues.
Supporting the LGBTQ+ Community
Through educational work and events, we want to promote acceptance and understanding of the LGBTQ+ community and offer a safe space for exchange and networking.
Cooperation with Equality Officers
We maintain regular contact with the university's equality officers to jointly develop and implement measures to promote equal opportunities and diversity.
Sensitization and Education
Through information events, workshops, and campaigns, we want to raise awareness of diversity and inclusion within the university community.
Counseling and Support
We offer counseling and support to students who have experienced discrimination or have questions about diversity issues.
Organization of Events
We regularly organize events such as Pride Month, film evenings, discussion rounds, and workshops on various diversity topics.
